      Hi Bok,

this is a "real" application, which is really based on those conjectures (AKS & Popovych's) ... I don't have enough time at the moment (until november) to post some news or more details about the algorithm, bescause I'm working on a thesis ... sorry for that!

      and thanks for helping ...

        Bok.

UpperCase is a Goldbach Conjecture WU, not a PrimaBoinca. You have the wrong project.

          erm, no I don't.

UpperCase is a test application that comes with the BOINC server software. It just so happens that GoldBach has been running that for the last year only, though I only ran through very few wu's there..

I was just curious on this project as the application names for each wu are still uc_xxxxxxxx_yyyyyy with he UC being the operative name, but Fabio has already stated that it is NOT UpperCase.

                Hi Fabio,

                good luck with your thesis.

The project description is a little vague. Are you trying to find a counterexample to AKS or P.'s conjecture, or are you using the AKS algorithm to find counterexamples?

Are we running AKS algorithm right now? On what prime numbers? Can you elaborate (in due time)?

                Michael

                  Hi,

yes, I'm trying to find a counterexample to AKS and/or P.'s conjecture ...
I'll post my thesis on the project site as soon as possible ...

                    Hi Fabio,
Could we have a little bit of information concerning how the project is going? Just a quick update on twitter to tell us how many n were crunched so far, at which rate they are getting crunched, or the range of n currently in consideration, or the next goal to be achieved -- just a bit of info on the progress would be awesome :)
Good luck for your thesis, hope it's going well!
